Leading EU journalist Hughes Belin is joined by Alberto Pototschnig, the director of the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER), for an exclusive interview on the EU energy market,  major infrastructure projects and the impact they can have on energy prices for consumers.

Alberto Pototschnig gives insight into the latest developments in EU infrastructure including new legislative regulations as well at the state of implementation of major infrastructure projects such as the network codes. Pototschnig further elaborates on the demand response in the European electricity sector, including energy prices. Here he says he “can’t promise lower prices” but wishes that the prices would better reflect the conditions of the internal market.
