Internal security was presented as one of the Commission's priorities when it took office in November 2014.

Paris and Copenhagen were the latest of several European cities to suffer terrorists attacks in January and February 2015.

This Agenda for Security address three of the most pressing challenges:

1) preventing terrorism and countering radicalisation;

2) fighting organised crime;

3) fighting cyber-crime.

Three pillars: Information Exchange, Increasing Police Cooperation and Boosting Training and Co-Founding.
