Mark Hau is a political anthropologist from the University of Copenhagen working on political parties, European identity formation and ethnoregionalism in Europe.

As a former Model European Representative  from Denmark, he has also worked with the Red-Green Alliance in the Danish Parliament. His graduate fieldwork took place over 12 months in Barcelona where he worked with the separatist party Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya and issues of the Catalan independence movement.
He has since lived in Berlin and now resides in Copenhagen.
