Katarzyna was born in Poland and spent her teenage years in Scotland. Her academic background is mainly concerned with public policy, human rights and international relations. Despite her recent completion of a Master of Arts degree at University of Dundee, the study did not fully satisfy her hunger for knowledge as she plans on starting a postgraduate course in 2015.

She is currently interning at the Scottish Parliament and was in Edinburgh during the recent independence referendum. The most extensive writing conducted by Katarzyna has been her dissertation examining the radicalization of British Muslims. Her main interests are British politics and EU affairs, such as integration, enlargement and security.
