Asher Simpson is pursuing a career in international development following the completion of his Masters at The University of Exeter.
An enthusiastic promoter of community, he focused on the changing nature of community in a globalized world for his final thesis, bringing in industry case studies to highlight the increasingly ephemeral nature of relationships in a transitory job system. As well as this he found the exploration of potential threats in Global Security and grappling with the problems of Conflict and Statebuilding especially engaging.
He was featured as an Alumni Success Story at Exeter University for his work founding their Tremough Campus student newspaper as a private enterprise, and won an 'Award for Excellence', the first of its kind, for entrepreneurialism during his BA (hons).
Finally, he is interested in learning about other cultures, especially China, which he has always had a special interest in, becoming a T'ai Chi and Kung Fu teacher at the tender age of sixteen.
