Remuneration: Salaries vary depending on traineeships
The Student Trainee Exchange Programme (STEP) makes it possible for law students and young lawyers to gain working experience abroad. STEP Traineeships are an outstanding opportunity to gain practical legal experience and plunge into the culture of another country. The traineeships can last between 2 weeks and 2 years and can take place in any law related area.
ELSA International is happy to announce that we have 79 STEP Traineeships in 29 countries.
Only Law students can apply for the traineeships (Undergraduate, Graduate and Postgraduate)
Salary depends on each traineeship you are applying for. You may find the traineeships with descriptions on http://step.elsa.org website. Some traineeships are paid 100 Euros per month, while for some others you can get 1000 Euros or even more per month.
Traineeships can be found on the STEP Portal (step.elsa.org) under the tab ‘Traineeships’. They are divided per country. Click on the Traineeship for more details.
· Fill in the STEP online form (SOF) which is available on STEP Portal (step.elsa.org). You may also fill in the Pdf application form which will be given to you by STEP team. You may contact our STEP team via our Facebook page or by e-mail addresses listed below in order to receive the Pdf application form:

• STEP officers in Baku State University, Academy of Public Administration and National Aviation Academy can be approached for getting the information about STEP and filling in the application forms. Feel free to ask questions. ELSA Azerbaijan STEP team would be glad to assist you in applying for traineeships.
· You can only fill in 1 Form through which you may apply for the maximum of 3 Traineeships!
