The infographic above displays quite a bitter prognosis for the European Union: the trust of people in the EU during 2013 has sunk abruptly in comparison with 2012. That could be expected from the countries hit by the crisis most severely - Spain, Portugal, Greece and Italy, but surprisingly pro-European spirits have also lowered dramatically in Europe's leading economies: Germany and France.
