If the recent elections for the European Parliament are anything to go by, a strong eurosceptic wave is currently sweeping across the continent.

The eurosceptics almost doubled their number of seats in the parliament, and had especially strong elections in countries like France, Italy, The United Kingdom and Denmark. In 10 out of 14 countries, the eurosceptic parties increased their number of seats.

Although the parties have different goals and agendas, it seems to be a worrying trend.

The chart here shows exactly where the parties gained seats and how many they now hold.

What do you think of it? And are there things that the chart is missing or not showing?
