The Electoral Commission suggests the UK Government to change the referendum question (Source: BBC)

Words matter when it comes to a referendum.

The British Electoral Commission has recommended the Government of the United Kingdom to change  the current question ("Should the United Kingdom remain as a member of the European Union?) in order to avoid bias. 

The Commission suggests adding the phrase "or leave the European Union" to the original question so that the voters are encouraged to think both options.

David Cameron has accepted the Electoral Commission's suggestion and new bill will be introduced later this year.
