Recycling in Europe infographic made by Statista (statista.com)
This infographic made by Statista  shows that in terms of recycling there is a big difference between many countries in the European Union

Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium recycle respectively 62%, 61% and 56% of their waste, while Croatia, Malta, Romania and Bulgaria are the last countries of the list.

In fact, Croatia is the fourth worst country, with only 8% of its recycled trash, while 92% ends up in landfill.

Bulgaria is second last with just 6% recycled and Romania recycles only one percent of its trash.
