Jean-Claude Juncker, the European Commission President, addressed the United Kingdom and the planned referendum in his State of the European Union speech earlier this week.

In his speech Juncker stressed that the EU with Britain is a better union, and Britain benefits from staying in as well. Juncker also called for cooperation in the negotiation process so that the best result for everyone is achieved.

The EU is improving and Britain should be part of it.
