Union and the USA put economic sanctions on
Russia, they faced revenge sanctions, expressed mainly in banning Western food products from Russian market. Although European farmers are being forced to
sell their harvest for the half-price - Russian consumers are definitely experiencing harder times: the infographic shows the rapid price increase for the
basic food products in Russia in 2014.
It is obvious that Russian sanctions have more impact on their own economy rather than on the Western one.
