Old names of Europe

During the past 30 years the map of Europe changed significantly: new states appeared and some territories change their owners. However the names of the cities have remained the same.

It was not always like this, and the infographic from Crasstalk  shows you how European cities were called in the past. While most of us remember Londinium from our English classes, some other names may be really puzzling.
