Multiculturalism is one of the key-notions defining European dimension. The mobility of the population in the Europen Union is very high, which causes numerous debates concerning the integration.
Each European country has a different approach towards the methods of integrating the newcommers into the society, some of them are more effective than the others. Still noone would deny that education plays the most important role in building strong multicultural society powered by diversity and tolerance.
Apart from providing education opportunities to migrants, the European Union also motivates its citizens to go abroad for educational and professional purposes, by introducing numerous programms for students and professionals mobility. No need to say a word about the impact the exchange programme Erasmus caused to the development of cultural diversity and inter-ethnic relations in Europe.
