In 2012 all European low-cost airlines increased their sales volumes, except for Airberlin.
The most important European low-cost air travel company has been Ryanair, which carried 75.8 million passengers, while in 2011 it carried over 72 million.
According to this infographic, it seems Europeans prefer low-cost airlines and the sales volume of these companies is increasing year after year.
This fact could be explained by the economic crisis, but many people complain of the quality of the services and the routes of some flights.
