This infographic made by Statista (Statista.com) shows where Christmas is more appreciated in Europe.
According to this infographic, Europeans are looking forward to Christmas, but not everywhere in the same way.

The interviewees answered the question: are you looking forward to Christmas this year?

The results show that a higher percentage of people from northern Europe agreed and above all Denmark, Germany, Norway, Sweden, the UK and Finland, while 57% of the French interviewed disagreed.

How could you explain this?

Do you think Christmas is more appreciated in northern Europe? If yes, why?
