EU is working harder than ever on its Eastern Europe Partnership project. The Lithuanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union declared that one of the top priorities will be to strengthen the EU’s relationship with its Eastern neighbours.

The European Union is seeking an increasingly close relationship with Ukraine, going beyond cooperation, to gradual economic integration, making the country a priority partner within the European Neighbourhood Policy.

Can we expect Ukraine to join EU in the next 5-10 years?
