European Commission has elaborated the profile of an Erasmus Student according to the exchanges made through this programme between 2013 and 2014. 

67 % of the students were doing this Erasmus excchange during their Bachelors Degree and 29% were committed to their Master Degree

The important subjects are related to Social sciences, Business and Law (31%), Humanities and arts (17%), Engineering (17%), Health (11%) and other (24%). 

It is considered that an Erasmus student gained during this exchange skills that boost employability like: confidence, problem-solving, curiosity and adaptability.
