This infographic about displaced people has been created by Statista (Statista.com)
According to this infographic made by Statista (Statista.com), in 2013 alone there were over 8 million displaced people, because of civil, ethnic and religious conflicts.

Syria had the worst situation worldwide, where more than 3.500.000 people were forced to abandoned their homes.

The Democratic Republic of the Congo took the second position, followed by the Central African Republic, Nigeria, Sudan and South Sudan.

Many of these displaced people reached, or tried to reach, our European borders, hoping to find a better life.

How could the European Union face this situation?

Do you think all the EU members should plan a common strategy?

Do you think it is possible to change this issue?
