Nations in the north of Europe generally have a higher rate of Nonmarital Births, while in southern nations the percentage is usually lower.
Iceland is the European country with the highest percentage of births outside marriage (67%), followed by France (56%) and the UK (48%).
While at the bottom of this list, we find Italy, Poland and Greece, that respectively have 28%, 22% and 8%.
