This infographic about alcohol consumption in Europe has been done by Jakub Marian (Jakubmarian.com)

This infographic made by Jakub Marian (Jakubmarian.com) shows the amount of pure alcohol consumed in European countries (the figures are in litres per year per adult - defined as a person aged 15 or older).

It seems that Eastern Europeans drink more than other Europeans, with the Belarusians taking the lead, followed by Moldovans, Russians and Lithuanians.

How could you explain that in those countries people drink more than most other places in Europe?

Do you think the EU should work to find a common solution to solve this problem?

If yes, what do you think can be done?
