In Greece extreme nationalistic movements are gaining traction in the face of hard austerity and overwhelming unemployment.
According to The Wallstreet Journal the "Golden Dawn" Party has reached 11.6% approval in recent polls up from about 7% in June 2012 at the parliamentary elections. 

Golden Dawn was founded by Nikalaos Michaloliakos during the period of the "Regime of the Colonels" between 1967 and 1974. He is their current leader and described as openly racist by academics. Detailed information about the history of Golden Dawn can be read here at Wikipedia  (No guarantee for accuracy from our side).

On February 3rd about 30.000 of their supporters, some observers claim numbers up to 50.000, have marched through Athens. In this video they can be seen and heard shouting "Sieg Heil" on several occasions, a popular slogan of the German Social Nationalist Party in the 1930s and 40s. Is this only the beginning or just an ugly episode?

Update: Reader James J. C. has informed us they may be shouting "Zito, which means "Hurrah" or "Viva" in Greek, in response to the caller's fascist slogans."
